Comment / G-SJMC is one of a pair of Boeing 767-300s delivered to Airtours International Airways in spring 1994, the other being G-DAJC. The airline's 767 fleet eventually peaked at 4 aircraft, although today only the original pair, 'MC and 'JC, remain in service with the successor to Airtours, MyTravel Airways.

Comment / MyTravel has been bumping up its Airbus fleet this year, with this A321 G-OMYJ joining from First Choice (ex. G-OOAF). It has also taken on A320 G-OMYA from Thomas Cook (ex. G-BXKB).

Comment / Seconds after lifting off from runway 25 en route to Alicante, with the dip in Newcastle's runway clearly visible! The strip is currently only 2329m long, although recent reports suggest that advanced plans are currently under consideration for an extension of 360m to the 25 end.

Comment / G-OMYT on tiptoes having just touched down on runway 06R, with the early morning sunlight really bringing out the orange in the MyTravel scheme. How long 'till Thomas Cook titles start to appear?

Comment / MyTravel have announced that their last Boeing 757, G-WJAN, shall be leaving the fleet at the end of November, ending the airline's long association with the type. G-WJAN was first delivered direct to Airtours International Airways in March 1997, and shall be leaving for Canada to fly for Skyservice.

Comment / After spending the summer in Canada operating for Skyservice, G-WJAN is now back in Britian wearing this basic scheme, and the last remaining B757 with MyTravel.
